First day of school... fuck it.

So today was the first day of school. I was surprised that I actually am looking forward to my biology class. The teacher is pretty cool, which should make the class pretty cool. That class was at 8am, which sucks all sorts of ass. Next thing I did was a meeting with my English adviser about getting in to another class. The good thing was that I got in, the bad thing was she sent me to the wrong room and I spent 45 minutes in the wrong damn class. Now I have to email my REAL professor and explain to him how and why I wasn't in class today. My last class was a philosophy class on Freedom. The teacher is from Italy and named Alessandro. He speaks with a thick accent and is pretty freaking bad ass. So I'm looking forward to that class the most.
Aaaaanyways, to all those people I know aren't reading this, all I can say is that 8am classes suck ass and that classes that end at 8pm suck just as much. Seriously, what the fuck is with the classes I want/need to take. They are always at the most ridiculous hours. That's what I get for going to college though. That and sub-par advisers, huge tuition bills, over priced books, and teachers who really couldn't give a fuck. If I didn't NEED a degree to get a job that would sustain me I would drop out so fast that... well it would be fast. Oh, and there is a rumor going around that they are changing the name of Rhode Island College to Ocean State University... fuck that.
This new president is fucking everything around. Making me meet with my adviser just so I can pick classes. That wouldn't be too bad if there had been anything more than a small print warning about it on the sign-in screen for my schools website. Which means I missed out on a class that I needed to take this semester.
A word of warning to all those imaginary readers who are thinking about going to RIC (possibly soon to be OSU), figure out who your adviser is right away and ask them EVERY fucking question you can think of about your major. Make sure you know everything you can, otherwise you'll get your ass slapped around by tests that they toss at you and all sorts of bullshit just to be accepted in to your major. Fuck school.
