I am well aware that in all actuality I am not traveling at Mach One. For those of you of lesser intelligence, please disregard that and read this. I am not for reals, breaking the sound barrier. My skin would not like that much. But my brain is traveling at least at Mach Two. What this means, well, it means you, my lovely fanbase, can now understand the workings of my inner being.
Have you ever wondered where your tax dollars go? Ever been to your local District Courthouse? Well I have. I will not explain exactly what I did to end up in that lovely glass prison, but I will explain a little about the establishment. As I approached the building, I realized while I was not a 25 foot giant man, the building could certainly handle me if I was. The front door made little sense to me, as the glass door was 25 feet tall. Here is the kicker, the door handle went that high as well. I must pose the question of why, when as of current, no human, or even two humans atop each other could near reach the top of that door handle. Upon entering this monumental door, I was greeted with...ANOTHER door, two and a half stories tall. Inside this, a white marble, or perhaps a cheap imitation, I cannot claim to be a stonemason, wall greeted me at the far end of a large glass wall. This was the single most expensive, fancy building I'd stepped in. I was utterly disgusted, and I turned to the security guard, who at the moment, was placing a small metal detector between my legs. I looked at him and said "Was all this really needed, just for a place where people go to meet their fate?" He laughed and said "American Tax Dollars at work." I nearly spat at him, and his fancy fucking badge.
Now, earlier I said I was not a stonemason. This is true, however, I have dabbled in masonry, just thought you should be made aware of this.
I was just listening to a speech while I was writing. It was given by Sam Harris, in the year of 2005. He spoke vividly of a world where religion is dead, and how morality can continue on without those morals in the bible, or whatever it may be that you read. While I can agree a world can exist pleasantly without faith, as proved by U.N. censuses, which show that many of the primarily Atheist countries are low on crimes against morality, such as murder and rape. (I'm aware I may have had a few run on sentences. However, that is the price you pay when you break the Sound Barrier.) Now, clearly as a whole, we could survive in a purely Atheist society, but Religion is not here just to provide moral guidelines as many believe. When you were a child, you had a toy that your parents would give you to sleep with, when you were upset, because it was a security blanket. Many children use a literal blanket. Well, I find religion is the security blanket to those who feel they outgrew that toy. Many people need that feeling of community given by religion, many need that feeling of acceptance among peers. Even more, many people find the morals to be something to live by. But that is also a security blanket. As children, we do not wake up one day and kill our brother, because he is eating and you are hungry. It is human nature to NOT kill. We kill when we need to, and in the world we live in, most do not need to kill. Morality states you shouldn't kill, but common sense says killing the person next to you will get you nothing. Now, I can assure you if you put three Catholic Priests on an island, give them three knives, and tell them only one of them is going to eat for the next year, the survivor, they will throw their morals aside and kill the fuck out of their associates. Why? Because needs to survive dictates everything. According to God however, that man is committing Mortal Sin! But I say that deciding to not fight, is also a MORTAL Sin, no? It is certain suicide to not kill the other two, and I do believe that suicide is a sin. I suppose I can sum it all up really easy. As long as people can live in a manner where they follow whatever God they wish, and do not feel it necessary to purge the non believers, we can live fine. Atheism is not going to save us, we are doomed as a species, we may as well allow it to continue on with the people being led like Blind Sheep. They won't see the end, and if they do, they will not die in fear. And truly, what use is dying if you fear death? :)
I want to keep talking, but I really have no clue what I should talk about. I had just communicated (haha) my theory of why homo sapien sapien will undergo another evolution if we survive as a species. The theory is that we will move beyond the need for just verbal communication, due to the lack of emotion lost when speaking in the intangibles. I won't put you through that, however, I will simply end it here.
